I needed to plug the printer directly into my computers USB port and let Windows re-recognizere-install it.After that, I simply re-connected the printer directly to the router (mine is a WR-1043ND), and voila SO, the problem seemed to be that the printer just need to be re-installed on Win 10; the print server utility was fine all along.I dont often have to reboot Windows 10, but when I did (after the seemingly failed install) it was installed, but I kept hearing the USB device unplugged sound once per second until I uninstalled it.
![]() This soft is called TP-Link usb printer controller to connect my printer with my hackintosh by wifi. After this I rebooted my computer and have the message You need to restart your computer. I can enter to ML with -x. Tp-Link Usb Printer Controller Setup Software Too SoI have a TP-Link router and I run that software too so I can print to printers attached to the USB ports on the router, and Ive had no problems with it (except that its annoying that it sits in the dock rather than in the menu bar at the top of the screen like it should). By the way, a little off topic, which soft do you recommend: Time Machine, CCC or SD. My system is setup with an SSD for bootapplications and a Seagate Momentus XT hybrid drive for Users. I let Time Machine do its thing, backing up to a 2TB NAS drive. Then periodically (especially before I make any major changes) I pop another SSD the same size as my boot SSD into an external SATA toaster bay and use CCC to clone it. ![]()
